What’s unique to this series in a way I haven’t seen before (especially not in a YA novel), is the very real relational conflicts the protagonist must deal with. This is an EXCELLENT series for a middle school or even high school reader, but as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to the next installment!
