What happens when you’re not looking for love, but the man of your dreams arrives on your doorstep?

That's My Girl

Liv has it all. She’s smart, gorgeous, about to start uni in a new city, and men are lining up to date her. But she’s not ready to give her heart to anyone. After losing her father and witnessing her mother’s heartache, Liv is determined to stay single and avoid the pain of love. Besides, she’s laser focused on her education and achieving her dream of becoming a therapist, including her upcoming internship with the respected—and super sexy—Dr Parker.

There’s just one problem. Right as Liv is about to leave for her first semester of uni, her soon-to-be stepbrother, Jake, shows up in her life. It’s love at first sight for Liv, and the feeling is mutual.

Liv must decide—take a risk and pursue a relationship with Jake, or remain focused on her lifelong goals? And to add to her confusion, is the attractive, intelligent Dr Parker hiding a secret that could tear Liv and Jake apart for good?

WARNING: This book contains a manipulative villain, a toxic relationship, drug-related assault, sexual content, profanity, and a ridiculously loveable lead male character. Recommended for mature individuals who like stories about flawed individuals who learn from their mistakes and find happiness in the end.

This is a good read. I am not a big fan of slow burns, but I feel like this one was good. The main male character having no self-confidence, but the main female was beautiful and smart. She loved him but did not give him a try right away she dated other men, then finally gave him a chance. There was not much I did not like about it.
