A gifted psion chosen for the Amber Sky Program is about to find out that the war isn’t exactly for the reasons given.

Dragon War

The war between Kaldona and Aurumden started half a century ago and most of Aurumden has no idea why, believing us to be bloodthirsty savages, but dragon kind have long lives and even longer memories. It was because of one man, the President of Aurumden. His wife, Sophia escaped him by running to a dragon who loved her.

Luke and Sophia’s daughter caught my attention the moment she walked into the tent where I was studying, to eventually be the King of Kaldona. A fate I didn’t really want but as the only known Royal, I didn’t have much of a choice. Then she walked in, a dragoness who even at eighteen I wanted for my own, but I’d always been awkward talking to girls.

It was time for her, like her three older brothers to determine if she would fight in the war or not. Her oldest brothers, identical twins, had infiltrated Aurumden’s Top Secret Program, one that used our own dragons against us, awaiting any Royal who might be sent there. Her other brother was in the Aurumden capitol looking for any indication of the one lost, years ago.

And now it was Jael’s turn to declare her intentions. Spoiled, stubborn, brash and the most beautiful female I’d ever seen. Kaldona might know me as Prince Gabriel, but I didn’t feel worthy of her. My friend, Michael didn’t have that problem and didn’t hesitate to let his interest in my dragoness be known.

There are so many questions. Will this war ever end? Will I get the female that consumed my every thought? Will we find the lost Royal?

If you like fantasy, sci-fi or dragons, this should definitely be on your bookshelf. The talented author introduces us to a new world of dragons and it’s a fun escape. I’m looking forward to reading the sequels.
