I just became a fan of this author and his story. It is very fascinating, and though it is science fiction, it has a lot of regular science in the mixed, making the story so real. This author brings the story to life. The characters had a lot of depth and were very realistic.

This is a unique SCI-FI story about space travel… with talking dogs no less! It is well written but a bit dry in style… like a how-to manual. It took a while to connect with the gambling-loving characters.

Unlike most Sci-fi writers, Bob Freeman truly goes beyond the ordinary in this book. He indeed takes our minds on a celestial expedition, breaking the shackles of limitations and embracing the endless possibilities of what science fiction is. His immersion of humans alongside animals in the book is indeed one that stretches the mind to accept that science fiction believes in all possibilities.
