I am Selune. One of the last living Titan goddesses that rule the Faedoroth. Along with my capricious cousins, our pantheon reigns supreme above all others. I’ve seen the God of power entice the insipid and frail mortals before, never thinking that he would come for me. Lualdir has taken everything from me and threatened to spread my ashes on the stairs alongside our doomed parents. Turnabout is fair play, and he will soon learn that taking things by force has repercussions. My power is greater than they all imagined; and so are my demons.

I’m glad to see some Titans getting attention in books. They’re usually overlooked in favor of the Olympians but the author uses them so well here. There is a sense of time and age to them that I really enjoyed seeing put in paper.
