25-year-old Miranda is struggling with depression and anxiety, and she is desperate to feel normal again. When a stranger approaches her in a coffee shop with a solution to her problem, she agrees to take a trip to The Healing Springs. Upon her return home, she initially feels like herself again, until she senses a malignancy growing inside her. Is she going crazy, or did she carry something back inside her?

Meanwhile, a young woman’s half-eaten corpse is discovered in the town park. Detective Velnette Cadell and Detective Aaron Turner are shocked to discover that a human committed this heinous crime. As more bodies are discovered, they seek the help of a local psychiatrist. Do they have a cannibal loose in the town of Clearview, or is it something more sinister?

As the investigation expands and more horrifying details begin to emerge, their path towards the truth is both dangerous and ominous. Can they solve this bizarre case, or will they too end up as the next victims?
