Now that Jorah Holt is nineteen, he must become part of a society that detests him because of his gender. Worse still, Jorah has a secret; he’s what The Westlands call a ‘Double Blank’. Double Blanks have no use to The Westlands and Jorah knows his secret could get him killed.

As he tries to hide his true self, he’s confronted by the realisation that The Westlands might not be all it seems. Is there life outside the wall? Are all women as evil as he thought?

Jorah must uncover the truth before his time is up.

It’s a good read facing a brave theme.
