I wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed this book! Some really interesting twists, lore, and worldbuilding. Very creative, with vivid characters. Loved the romantic bits and I hope there are more in the next book.

This was an enjoyable, fast paced urban fantasy, with a few Indiana Jones-esque adventures, and a touch of suspenseful danger. There were a few hints of romance, and a great deal of magical maneuvering. It all made for an entertaining urban fantasy that UF fans will enjoy.

I absolutely loved this book! Couldn’t put it down and read it in just two days. Fantasy is one of my favorite genres but I also loved the adventure/comedy/romance element. I also enjoy getting to see inside both Mal and Lucy’s heads. I can’t wait for the next book!
