The description grabbed me because the protagonist is a mechanic. Don’t see many female gearheads in books, and my favorite is the girl in Wool. Will this be a contender for my new favorite? Well, she’s also a dragon so the potential is there.

I really enjoyed this book by Kayla Kimmell. I particularly like the protagonist. I am a sucker for strong female leads, and Fiona Statler is that and more. She’s a mechanic, an independent woman, oh yes, she’s also a witch (or a dragon, yes really) with a penchant for heat. If you like your fantasy with a grounded, kick-butt female MC. then you should put OVERHAULED on your TBR list.
